As a Western democracy, we boast about Free Speech, insisting that it is a fundamental building block of civilisation. Thought for the Week

This week we had our first midweek church meal of 2015. These are important events in the life of Emmanuel Church, often being a time to share and pray about the vision for the Church. There are two more booked for 2015, 22nd April and 9th September do please put these dates in your diary now.
So the other week, “The wife” had an inset day at the school she works at. This meant that “The Boy” (my four year old) was to spend a few hours with me at my work.

Wow! What a great Christmas we have had here at Emmanuel Church. I hope you have been able to attend some of our amazing range of events and services over the Christmas period.
We began our celebrations with a Christmas party on 13th December. This was attended by large numbers of people, many who do not normally come to the church.
