Twice now in the past four months, I have woken in the morning to be greeted by a newscaster telling me that I was waking up to a situation that I thought extremely unlikely when I had gone to sleep hours before. First it was Brexit, and now it’s Trump.

As I am writing this I am looking across my desk and I can see an array of throat sweets, tissues, decongestant tablets, and other items. All evidence of this horrible cold I’ve been fighting off the last few days (or weeks to be fair).
Hello from one of your Curates.
This is our Harvest Celebration weekend when we have a meal together, and rejoice in the provision God makes for us. This year we expect to have fruit and vegetables grown by our team of local gardeners, eggs from Holly and Caroline, and local cheeses.
A few weeks ago I was watching as the children danced and jumped at the front of the church, along to the worship music. There was no embarrassment, no wondering what other people would think of them, just pure joy in the freedom of being able to move however they wanted, expressing themselves through movement.
